I like to grow the China Rose type that have a beautiful pink stem color.

Its one of the easiest crops to grow, and are perfect for beginners. 

 Supplies needed

  • seeds
  • Shallow planting trays or containers
  • potting soil,seed starting mix or coco coir. 
  • Water spray bottle for gentle misting
  • Light source (natural sunlight or artificial grow lights)

Step-by-Step Growing Process

  1. Fill your planting tray with gow medium, ensuring there’s about half an inch of space at the top for watering. I prefer to use coco coir blocks. Its ok preiced and compressed in size, so that I can add water and activate it when I need it.
  2.  Evenly distribute the seeds across the soil surface. A dense sowing is recommended, as these greens thrive when grown closely together.
  3. Use a spray bottle to lightly mist the seeds, keeping the soil moist but not overly saturated.
  4.  Place a lid or another tray on top to create a dark environment, which is crucial for germination.
  5.  After 3-5 days, remove the cover and position the tray under a light source or in a sunny location to encourage growth.
  6. When the first true leaves appear, typically within 10 to 14 days, use scissors to cut the greens just above the soil line.
